David Tollmann
Born in 1988 in Sulingen, Lower Saxony, David Tollmann represents the next generation of an impressive artistic dynasty. Influenced from an early age by his family's art, his impact extends far beyond the work of his father, the well-known artist Markus Tollmann, and his grandfather, the renowned painter Günter Tollmann. David Tollmann has developed his own distinctive artistic voice, which finds expression in intense, colorful, and large-format works.
His work combines figurative elements with an expressive, graphically driven visual language. His paintings are characterized by vibrant color palettes, dynamic lines, and symbolic forms that interact within layered compositions.
Positioned between figuration and abstraction, Tollmann creates pictorial spaces in which human figures, signs, and geometric elements merge into a distinctive visual language. His works often explore themes of identity, encounter, and emotional relationships, conveying a strong sense of immediacy and energy.
David Tollmann’s works are presented internationally by galleries and are held in private collections.
